Body: I ordered a set of restore disks for my Sony notebook PC. They were delivered overnight as promised. I had a problem reading the disks on the Notebook. A few moments with the competent folks on Live Chat and we came to the mutual conclusion that something was wrong with the notebook DVD drive. Next day, they delivered via overnight freight, at their expense, a new set of disks, just in case the originals were bad. After I ordered the product online,the store sent me a confirmation email with estimated shipping date and the price charged to my credit card, but there was a link to track the shipping that I could not acces, and I tryed to make contact about that but they didn´t answer. Body: WOW! I am completely impressed! A power surge to my Sony Vaio laptop left me with a damaged motherboard and little hope of recovery. These folks were able to resolve my troubles quickly and effectively where other professionals had already failed. I had been told that I needed a new motherboard ($900) if this laptop was ever going to work again. However, Nexttronics fixed the problem for $150 and in just a few days (including shipping). They had the computer for less than 24 hours and got it back to me the next day after that. Their support staff was great. They were able to diagnosis the problem in just a few moments of online chat and they delivered in full. Their no fix, no pay policy is unbeatable! I am very happy I chose to do business with them and they WILL BE the first on my list if I (or my friends) ever have laptop problems in the future. I offer an unreserved recommendation. |

Body: Id been looking for an impossibly hard to find ribbon cable that was proprietary to my Sony Vaio. Sony corp. wanted nearly $40 for the 4-inch 8-conductor wire, which probably cost .01 cents to make. I got it from Nexttronics for a third of Sony's cost, so it was worth looking. My BIG recommendation to Nexttronic is that they not loosely cram such a fragile and small cable into an envelope. Mine might be broken where the envelope pressed against it and folded a deep kink into it. I would have taped it flat to a piece of cardboard for shipping and put that in an envelope. |

Body: Customer service was Great! There was some confusion on the pricing of the labor and what level of labor was needed. There was a fast turn around of the items. When I received the Items back only one worked right. I called back and they asked me to ship the items back for further repair at no cost. Cost for three laptop repairs was around $500.00 dollars. I was given a 5% discount off cost of repairs for multi-repairs. Cost of shipping systems back for further repairs was around $30.00 Fed Ex super saver shipping. The box that the system was sent back to me was semi-crushed but the systems was packaged fine. So far I'm satisfied with merchant and would use them again. |

I would like to follow that review with the following comments: I did receive a prompt response from the vendor following my initial review. It was explained to me that my emails had been filtered to the receivers junk mail box and thus not noticed for a period of time. I did receive a refund of the difference between standard and two day shipping charges. It was explained to me that nextronics.com processes refund a couple of times a month and thus the refund is generally not immediate. I found this resolution to be mostly satisfactory. I did not receive an explanation concerning the poor customer service I received initially but can say the customer service improved as we resolved my dispute. Thank you! |
